Dogs are our closest companions, but despite inviting them into our homes, many of us struggle to understand their behaviour, applying human concepts to explain why they behave in certain ways. Dogs, on the other hand are far better at reading us and are unique amongst other species in their ability to comprehend our facial expressions, body language and complex communicative gestures. I believe we need to take the time to learn about the world from their perspective, in order to give them what they need to enjoy a full and happy life.
If you would like help understanding and addressing behavioural problems or with obedience and training, I can support you every step of the way. I offer non-judgemental advice, employing techniques based on sound scientific research, putting the welfare of the dog always at the forefront.
What Will be Involved?
Depending on the behavioural problem, it may be necessary to seek advice from a qualified vet to exclude any underlying medical condition. This may be something that I advise.
There are 2 options available:
STANDARD PACKAGE
Assessment and practical training session (2 hours):
This is combined into one visit and takes place in your home and may include a walk if needed. This allows for both observation of the issues and practical support on how to start implementing training techniques.
Support via email or WhatsApp messenger is available for a further 4 weeks.
Total cost: £100
* Written training plans cost £35 and can be provided on request
Further sessions can be booked on an ad hoc basis and cost £35 per hour
FULL PACKAGE
THE FULL PACKAGE INCLUDES A £35 DISCOUNT!
This is a comprehensive package that includes the standard package:
Assessment and practical training session (2 hours)
in addition to a
Written training plan: A step-by-step approach on how to address the behavioural problems.
Bespoke training session (2 hours): This visit is to review progress and address any remaining issues.

Total cost: £170
Further sessions can be booked on an ad hoc basis and cost £35 per hour
With all bookings:
All clients will need to complete a questionnaire prior to our first meeting.
An invoice will be provided, and a simple bank transfer will be required to make payment.
Please be aware there are no simple fixes and there is no one size fits all approach. Success depends on a willingness and commitment to implement the recommended training techniques. Patience, repetition and consistency are also key to changing behaviour.
