Dogs are incredible! They are our close companion and an important member of our family. Yet their behaviour can be difficult to understand, be stressful to manage and at times cause embarrassment.

Whatever the problem, we can help; from jumping up, to pulling on the lead and more complex issues like resource guarding and aggression, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Always putting the dog first, our welfare friendly methods ensure that you get results in the right way.

Over the years we have helped countless owners with their dogs from all walks of life, of different breeds and ages. Our aim is to build trust and restore balance to the relationship you have with your dog, creating an even stronger bond.

Our sessions are face to face because we know just how important this is not only for correctly assessing the behaviour of the dog, but also for providing you with the support you need. We understand that every owner and dog is different, and as such there is no one size fits all approach. With so much information, we know this can feel confusing and overwhelming. That is why we provide clear, jargon free information, tailor made to meet the needs of you and your dog.

As specialists in dog behaviour and training, we understand what motivates dogs and how they learn, which is crucial in resolving behavioural issues. We also understand the subtleties of their communication.

Did you know that through domestication, dogs have become experts at reading our behaviour? But we often misinterpret what they are saying to us. Through one-to-one sessions, we will teach you what your dog is trying to tell you and how to communicate in a way that your dog understands using your body language and energy. Our bespoke training plans give you step by step techniques, helping you achieve a calmer more confident dog, able to explore the world, socialise and be part of your life.

What people are saying about us

The two home visits, comprehensive written report, subsequent training and advice have been an absolute game changer. Our bulldog is pulling less on the lead and reacting less around bikes, other dogs and visitors. We also now know what good leadership looks like around her and it’s making such a difference to calming her down. Can’t recommend Dogcredibles highly enough! Stephanie Shaw

Dogcredibles has helped us to unravel some behavioural issues with our 2-year-old cocker spaniel. Mostly guarding issues but following Miriam’s assessment and training plan and 1:1 guidance, we quickly developed confidence in consistently tackling the triggers as and when they arose. We cannot recommend Dogcredibles highly enough as her expertise has drastically changed my dog’s behaviour and enjoyment of him. Alison Elizabeth

We were previously struggling with reactivity issues with our dog for over 18 months, and we had advise from another trainer which had not helped at all. After meeting Miri and Colin for a 2 hour session and following their training plan, we managed to correct the reactivity in 3 weeks. We still stick to the training plan now but we have not seen the snapping behaviour we had struggled with since our first meeting. Miri and Colin taught us so much about our dogs body language and we have been much more confident. We would not hesitate to recommend Dogs Credible to anyone. Jacqueline To
