Who We Are

Miriam Cass, owner of Dogcredibles

I have always been passionate about animals and nature. Over the years, I have gained a great deal of experience of working with dogs through volunteering at different rescue centres, adopting rescue dogs myself and working alongside other behaviourists, rehabilitating dogs as part of the rehoming process.

I have spent time caring for chimpanzees in Cameroon, Africa for the organisation Ape Action Africa. I was also lucky enough to have the opportunity to help research the conservation status of Green Turtles alongside scientists working in Malaysia.

I have a BA Hons in Philosophy and a background in psychology. I hold a Certificate in Humanistic Counselling obtained at the Gestalt Centre in London. In recent years, I have completed a Certificate in Primatology and earned a distinction in Applied Animal Behavioural (canine). This is a rigorous, course designed to equip behaviourists with a solid foundation in up to date scientific knowledge on the subject of Animal Behaviour. I am a full member of the International Society of Animal Professionals.

I am fully committed to continuing my professional development, working towards CCAB accreditation and keeping abreast of the latest scientific research in animal behaviour.

I have a wealth experience of dealing with dogs, gained through working in rescue centres over the years. I have a special interest in bull breeds and dog aggression. On occasions, I accompany Miriam on visits.
